Household membership is open.

Membership is the evidence of demand the project needs. A defensible count of households willing to support the work is what gives the co-op standing in County discussions and in any future funding application: it is the difference between an idea and a constituency.

It is important to be plain about what membership is not. It is not a promise of water service, and it does not establish a route, a price, a water rate or a construction date. Joining says that a household supports the project going forward, and nothing more than that.

One membership per household. The board will contact applicants with the current form and payment instructions.
